We’re On the Road Again: Saturday, April 18, 2026, 9 AM to 3 PM
Plan on joining us at the 32nd On the Road to Literacy Tutor and Adult Learner Conference.
Whether you’re staff, a tutor, or a Basic, ESL or GED student at the beginning, intermediate, or advanced level, there is always something for everyone at the On the Road to Literacy Conference.
To be held on Saturday, April 18th at the Malcolm X College Conference Center located at 1900 W. Jackson, the conference is a day-long event offering two general sessions and 15+ workshops exploring strategies, techniques, and materials to build vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, comprehension, reading, writing, and computational skills in or out of tutoring sessions.
The conference, which offers 6 hours of ICCB-approved professional development, begins at 9:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Registration includes breakfast snacks, a boxed lunch, and conference materials. Registration is $30 for tutors, staff, and supporters, or $20 for adult learners, other students, and AmeriCorps members.
