With more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, Sharon Brauer is a strategic and compassionate leader known for combining innovation, emotional intelligence, and regulatory expertise to strengthen organizations and improve lives.

One of Sharon’s proudest professional accomplishments was creating and managing a Language Services Department within a hospital Women and Children’s division.

Recognizing that communication in a patient’s preferred language fosters understanding, dignity, and inclusion, she successfully implemented video-remote language services across multiple hospitals for 12 years ago—expanding access and improving the healthcare journey for countless individuals and families.

Sharon brings extensive expertise in compliance, accreditation, and regulatory leadership. She has a proven track record of guiding organizations through complex regulatory landscapes, minimizing risk while helping teams achieve strategic goals. Her collaborative leadership style emphasizes communication, inclusion, and cross-functional partnership to drive sustainable success.

Her 12+ years of experience in behavioral health services—including direct counseling and utilization management—further strengthened her ability to connect meaningfully with others and support positive outcomes.

Beyond her professional career, Sharon is deeply committed to service. She volunteers with Literacy DuPage as an English language tutor, empowering learners to build fluency and confidence. She also serves as a board member and volunteer at the West Suburban Community Pantry, which provides nourishing food and critical resources—including translation services—to more than 1,000 neighbors each week.

A lifelong learner who embraces challenges with grace, Sharon steps confidently into new opportunities, learns the processes thoroughly, and implements sustainable solutions that make a difference.
